You know at JELC we’re not playing small. We don’t settled for just smirking here. We want full blown laughter.

You’ve probably already done this challenge before, I’m betting you’ve participated in it unwillingly many of times.

Today’s challenge is more of a first thing in the morning exercise. I encourage you to give this as go to kick-start your day!

Is there an expensive perfume you own? Do you have a blazer or coat that only comes out for premium events?

That dropping, sinking feeling in your belly when you feel judged by someone. You know what I mean? That feeling is what we’re discussing today. I call it the ‘judgement ick’.

The thing about today’s challenge is that we’re playing a game… the balloon ball game. Games are fun right? We’re here to hype ourselves up, the point is to have fun while we’re doing it.

Psychology researchers found that alongside the simple ‘wearing’ of the clothing to help change the way we FEEL, there’s a step further that brings into play the ‘value’ or ‘meaning’ we assign to each particular piece of clothing.

It’s hump day, that mid week moment when we’re not yet at Friday eve and we’ve had 2 days of full on meetings and hustle. This means it’s time for some serious motivation and a little stamina hit to hype ourselves up.

Each day feels exciting and sometimes it’s hard to believe that this is actually your life. This is really your job. Sometimes it’s even harder to believe that they actually believe you’re capable of doing this job. “When are they going to figure me out and realise that I’ve actually got no idea?” says the voice.

For those who aren’t in management positions, or maybe aren’t dealing with many Gen Z colleagues in their roles daily - this generation is shaking up the way we work!

You see, I wasn’t a list person.

Ever.

I’ve tried. I knew plenty of people who were and they succeeded with them. The lists worked for them and I was always jealous.

A Christmas email is what my parents send out every year now. My Mum will send a card to her nearest and dearest, but mostly everyone receives the Lloyd Family Christmas email with photos and updates on how everyone is doing.

I think it’s lovely, and I wonder if it’s a dying tradition. Is this a generational thing, or is it an age thing?

Christmas is the absolute best!

I am a self proclaimed, proud, badge wearing, multi-passionate human. I have so many interests and am always running down different tangents being excited by multiple things. Which is awesome. It feels great to so frequently be inspired.

It also feels tough when you don’t know which way to run.
